And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold your peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

அசுத்த ஆவியைப் பேசாமல் இருக்கும்படி எச்சரித்தார் இயேசு. “அமைதியாக இருப்பாயாக! இம்மனிதனிலிருந்து வெளியே வா!” என்றார் இயேசு. எல்லாருக்கும் முன்பாக அசுத்த ஆவி அம்மனிதனைத் தரையில் தூக்கி எறிந்தது. பின்பு அசுத்த ஆவி காயப்படுத்தாமல் அம்மனிதனை விட்டு விலகியது.
