Now that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he calls the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

அல்லாமலும் மரித்தோர் உயிரோடு எழுந்திருப்பார்களென்பதை மோசேயும் முட்செடியைப்பற்றிய வாக்கியத்தில் காண்பித்திருக்கிறார். எப்படியென்றால், கர்த்தரை ஆபிரகாமின் தேவனென்றும் ஈசாக்கின் தேவனென்றும் யாக்கோபின் தேவனென்றும் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.

மக்கள் மரணத்தில் இருந்து எழுப்பப்படுவர் என்பதை மோசே தெளிவாகக் காட்டினான். எரியும் புதரைப் பற்றி மோசே எழுதியபோது, அவன் கர்த்தராகிய தேவனை ஆபிரகாமின் தேவன் என்றும், ஈசாக்கின் தேவன் என்றும், யாக்கோபின் தேவன் என்றும் கூறினான்.
