Yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

இந்த விதவை என்னை எப்பொழுதும் தொந்தரவு செய்கிறபடியினால், இவள் அடிக்கடி வந்து என்னைத் தொந்தரவுசெய்யாதபடி இவளுக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்யவேண்டும் என்று தனக்குள்ளே சொல்லிக்கொண்டான் என்றார்.

ஆனால் இப்பெண் எனக்குத் தொந்தரவு தருகிறாள். அவள் கேட்பதை நான் செய்துவிட்டால் எனக்குத் தொல்லை கொடுப்பதை நிறுத்திவிடுவாள். அவள் விரும்புவதை நான் செய்யாவிட்டால் நான் சலிப்புறும் வரைக்கும் என்னைத் தொந்தரவு செய்வாள்’ என்று எண்ணினான்.
