பின்னர் அந்த ஆட்டைப் பல துண்டுகளாக வெட்டினான். அதன் உள்பகுதிகளையும் கால்களையும் தண்ணீரால் கழுவினான். பின்னர் அனைத்தையும் பலிபீடத்தின் மீது குவித்து வைத்து எரித்தான். இது கர்த்தருக்கு செய்யப்படும் சர்வாங்க தகனபலியாகும். இதன் மணம் கர்த்தருக்கு மிகவும் பிரியமானதாக இருக்கும். கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே மோசே அனைத்தையும் செய்து முடித்தான்.
