And he that kills a beast, he shall restore it: and he that kills a man, he shall be put to death.

எனவே ஒருவன் ஒரு மிருகத்தைக் கொன்றால் அவன் அதற்குரிய தொகையைக் கொடுக்க வேண்டும். ஆனால் ஒருவன் இன்னொருவனைக் கொன்றுவிட்டால் அவன் மரண தண்டனையடைய வேண்டும்.
