Judges 7:14
And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand has God delivered Midian, and all the host.

அப்பொழுது மற்றவன்; இது யோவாசின் மகனான கிதியோன் என்னும் இஸ்ரவேலனுடைய பட்டயமே அல்லாமல் வேறல்ல; தேவன் மீதியானியர்களையும், இந்த ராணுவம் அனைத்தையும், அவனுடைய கையிலே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார் என்றான்.

அம்மனிதனின் நண்பன் கனவின் பொருளை அறிந்திருந்தான். அம்மனிதனின் நண்பன், “உன் கனவிற்கு ஒரே ஒரு பொருளுண்டு. உனது கனவு இஸ்ரவேலின் மனிதனைப் பற்றியது. அது யோவாஸின் மகனாகிய கிதியோனைக் குறித்து உணர்த்துகிறது. மீதியானியரின் எல்லா சேனைகளையும் கிதியோன் தோற்கடிப்பதற்கு தேவன் அனுமதிப்பார் என்று இது பொருள்படுகிறது” என்றான்.
