Judges 3:20
And Ehud came unto him; and he was sitting in a summer parlour, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God unto you. And he arose out of his seat.

ஏகூத் அவன் அருகில் போனான்; அவனோ தனக்குத் தனியாக இருந்த குளிர்ச்சியான மேல் வீட்டு அறையில் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தான்; அப்பொழுது ஏகூத்: உம்மிடம் சொல்லவேண்டிய தேவ வாக்கு என்னிடம் உண்டு என்றான்; அவன் தன்னுடைய இருக்கையிலிருந்து எழுந்தான்.

அரசனான எக்லோனுடன் ஏகூத் சென்றான். கோடைக் கால அரண்மனையிலுள்ள மேல் அறையில் எக்லோன் இப்போது தனித்தவனாய் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தான். ஏகூத், “தேவனிடமிருந்து ஒரு செய்தியை உமக்குக் கொண்டு வந்திருக்கிறேன்” என்றான். அரசன் சிங்காசனத்திலிருந்து எழுந்து நின்றான். அவன் ஏகூத்திற்கு மிக அருகில் இருந்தான்.
