Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keeps not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

அப்பொழுது பரிசேயர்களில் சிலர்: அந்த மனிதன் ஓய்வுநாளைக் கடைபிடிக்காததினால் அவன் தேவனிடத்தில் இருந்து வந்தவன் இல்லை என்றார்கள். வேறுசிலர்: பாவியாக இருக்கிற மனிதன் இப்படிப்பட்ட அற்புதங்களை எப்படிச் செய்வான் என்றார்கள். இந்தவிதமாக அவர்களுக்குள்ளே பிரிவினை ஏற்பட்டது.
