John 7:18
He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory: but he that seeks his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

சொந்தமாக பேசுகிறவன் தன் சொந்த மகிமையைத் தேடுகிறான், தன்னை அனுப்பினவரின் மகிமையைத் தேடுகிறவனோ உண்மை உள்ளவனாக இருக்கிறான், அவனிடத்தில் அநீதியில்லை.

தன் சொந்தமான சிந்தனைகளை உபதேசிக்கிற எவனும் தனக்குரிய பெருமையை அடையவே முயற்சிக்கிறான். தன்னை அனுப்பினவரைப் பெருமைப்படுத்த முயற்சிக்கும் ஒருவன் எப்பொழுதும் உண்மையையே பேசுகிறான். அவனிடம் எந்தத் தவறும் இல்லை.
