Jeremiah 52:11
Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.

சிதேக்கியாவின் கண்களைக் குருடாக்கி, அவனுக்கு இரண்டு விலங்குகளை மாட்டினான்; பின்பு பாபிலோன் ராஜா அவனைப் பாபிலோனுக்குக் கொண்டுபோய், அவன் மரணமடையும் நாள்வரை அவனைக் காவல் வீட்டில் அடைத்துவைத்தான்.

பிறகு பாபிலோன் அரசன் சிதேக்கியாவின் கண்களைப் பிடுங்கினான். அவன் அவனுக்கு வெண்கல சங்கிலிகளைப் போட்டான். பிறகு அவன் பாபிலோனுக்கு சிதேக்கியாவைக் கொண்டுப் போனான். பாபிலோனில் அவன் சிறையில் சிதேக்கியாவை அடைத்தான். சிதேக்கியா மரித்துப் போகும்வரை சிறையிலேயே இருந்தான்.
