Jeremiah 49:20
Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD, that he has taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he has purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.

எனவே, ஏதோம் ஜனங்களுக்கு என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று கர்த்தர் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளாரோ அதைக் கவனி! தீமான் ஜனங்களுக்கு கர்த்தர் என்ன செய்யவேண்டும் என்று முடிவு செய்தாரோ, அதை கவனி! ஏதோமின் மந்தையில் (ஜனங்கள்) உள்ள குட்டிகளைப் பகைவர்கள் இழுத்துப் போடுவார்கள். ஏதோமின் மேய்ச்சல் நிலம் அவர்கள் என்ன செய்தார்களோ அதினிமித்தம் வெறுமையாய்விடும்.
