Jeremiah 42:4
Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto the LORD your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever thing the LORD shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back from you.

அப்பொழுது எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசி அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் சொன்னதைக் கேட்டேன்; இதோ, உங்கள் வார்த்தையின்படியே உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நோக்கி ஜெபம்செய்வேன்; கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்கு மறுஉத்திரவாகச் சொல்லும் எல்லா வார்த்தைகளையும் நான் உங்களுக்கு ஒன்றையும் மறைக்காமல் அறிவிப்பேன் என்றான்.

பிறகு, எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசி, “நான் என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும் என நீங்கள் விரும்புகிறீர்கள் என்பதைப் புரிந்துக்கொள்கிறேன். நீங்கள் கேட்டுக்கொண்டபடி நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடம் ஜெபம் செய்கிறேன். கர்த்தர் சொல்கிற எல்லாவற்றையும் நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்வேன். நான் உங்களிடமிருந்து எதையும் மறைக்கமாட்டேன்” என்றான்.
