Jeremiah 38:10
Then the king commanded Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Take from behind thirty men with you, and take up Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon, before he die.

அப்பொழுது ராஜா எபெத்மெலேக் என்னும் எத்தியோப்பியனை நோக்கி: நீ இவ்விடத்திலிருந்து முப்பது மனிதரை உன்னுடனே கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோய், எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசி இறப்பதற்குமுன்னே அவனைக் கிணற்றிலிருந்து தூக்கிவிடு என்று கட்டளையிட்டான்.

பிறகு சிதேக்கியா அரசன் எத்திதோப்பியனான எபெத்மெலேக்கிற்கு ஒரு கட்டளை கொடுத்தான். இதுதான் கட்டளை: “எபெத்மெலேக், அரசனது வீட்டிலிருந்து மூன்று பேரை உன்னோடு அழைத்துக்கொள். போய் எரேமியாவை அவன் மரிப்பதற்கு முன்பு தண்ணீர்க்குழியிலிருந்து வெளியே எடு.”
