Jeremiah 37:21
Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.

அப்பொழுது எரேமியாவைக் காவல்நிலையத்தின் முற்றத்தில் காக்கவும், நகரத்தில் அப்பம் இருக்குவரை அப்பம் சுடுகிறவர்களின் வீதியில் தினம் ஒரு அப்பத்தை அவனுக்கு வாங்கிக்கொடுக்கவும் கட்டளையிட்டான்; அப்படியே எரேமியா காவல்நிலையத்தின் முற்றத்தில் இருந்தான்.

எனவே சிதேக்கியா அரசன் எரேமியாவைக் காவற்சாலையின் முற்றத்திலே வைக்குமாறு கட்டளையிட்டான். அவனுக்குத் தெருவிலே அப்பஞ்சுடுகிறவர்களிடமிருந்து அப்பத்தை வாங்கிக் கொடுக்கச் சொன்னான். நகரத்திலே அப்பம் இருக்கும்வரை எரேமியாவிற்கு வாங்கிக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. எனவே அப்படியே எரேமியா காவற் சாலையின் முற்றத்திலே இருந்தான்.
