Jeremiah 36:29
And you shall say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus says the LORD; You have burned this roll, saying, Why have you written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?

எரேமியா, யூதா அரசன் யோயாக்கீமிடம் இவற்றையும் சொல், கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறது இதுதான்: ‘யோயாக்கீம், அப்புத்தகச் சுருளை எரித்தாய். நீ, “பாபிலோன் அரசன் உறுதியாக வந்து இந்நாட்டை அழிப்பான் என்று எரேமியா ஏன் எழுதினான்? பாபிலோன் அரசன் இத்தேசத்திலுள்ள மனிதர்களையும் மிருகங்களையும் அழிப்பான் என்று ஏன் அவன் சொல்கிறான்?” என்று சொன்னாய்.
