Lift up yours eyes unto the high places, and see where you have not been lien with. In the ways have you sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and you have polluted the land with your whoredoms and with your wickedness.

“யூதாவே, மலை உச்சிமீது கண்களை ஏறெடுத்துப் பார். உன் நேசர்களோடு (பொய்த் தெய்வங்கள்) பாலின உறவுகொள்ளாத இடம் ஏதாவது இருக்கிறதா? ஒரு அரபியன் பாலைவனத்தில் காத்திருப்பதுபோன்று நீ சாலை ஓரத்தில், உன் நேசர்களுக்காகக் காத்திருந்தாய். நீ இந்த நாட்டை ‘அசுத்தம்’ பண்ணிவிட்டாய்! இது எப்படி? நீ பல தீயச் செயல்களைச் செய்தாய். எனக்கு விசுவாசமற்றவளாக இருந்தாய்.
