Saying to a stock, You are my father; and to a stone, You have brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.

அந்த ஜனங்கள் மரத்துண்டுகளோடு பேசுகிறார்கள்! அவர்கள், ‘நீ என் தந்தை’ என்கிறார்கள். அந்த ஜனங்கள் பாறையோடு பேசுகிறார்கள். அந்த ஜனங்கள், ‘நீ எனக்குப் பிறப்பைக் கொடுத்தாய்’ என்றனர். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் வெட்கப்படுவார்கள். அந்த ஜனங்கள் என்னைப் பார்க்கமாட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் எனக்குத் தம் முதுகைக் காட்டினார்கள். ஆனால் யூதாவின் ஜனங்கள் துன்பம் அடையும்போது, அவர்கள் என்னிடம் வந்து, ‘எங்களைக் காப்பாற்றும்!’ என்பார்கள்.
