Jeremiah 14:15
Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

எனவே, நான் இதைத்தான் என் நாமத்தால் பிரச்சாரம் செய்துகொண்டிருப்பவர்களைப்பற்றிக் கூறுவது, அத்தீர்க்கதரிசிகளை நான் அனுப்பவில்லை. அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் சொன்னார்கள், ‘இந்த நாட்டைப் பகைவர்கள் எவரும் வாளால் தாக்கமாட்டார்கள், இந்த நாட்டில் எப்பொழுதும் பசி இருக்காது.’ அத்தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் பசியால் மரிப்பார்கள். பகைவரின் வாள் அவர்களைக் கொல்லும்.
