James 2:11
For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if you commit no adultery, yet if you kill, you are become a transgressor of the law.

ஏனென்றால், விபசாரம் செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக என்று சொன்னவர் கொலை செய்யாதிருப்பாயாக என்றும் சொன்னார்; ஆதலால், நீ விபசாரம் செய்யாமலிருந்தும் கொலை செய்தாயானால் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை மீறினவனாவாய்.

“விபசாரம் செய்யாமல் இருப்பாயாக” என்று தேவன் கூறினார். அதோடு “கொலை செய்யாமல் இருப்பாயாக” என்றும் கூறியுள்ளார். எனவே, நீ விபசாரம் செய்யாமல் இருந்து, கொலை மட்டும் செய்வாயானால், பிறகு நீ சட்டத்தில் கட்டளைகளை உடைத்தவன் ஆகிறாய்.
