Isaiah 66:17
They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the LORD.

தங்களைத்தாங்களே பரிசுத்தப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களும், தோப்புகளின் நடுவிலே தங்களைத் தாங்களே ஒருவர்பின் ஒருவராகச் சுத்திகரித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களும், பன்றியிறைச்சியையும், அருவருப்பானதையும், எலியையும் சாப்பிடுகிறவர்களும் முழுவதுமாக அழிக்கப்படுவார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறார்.

“அந்த ஜனங்கள் அவர்களின் சிறப்பான தோட்டத்தில், தொழுதுகொள்வதற்காகத் தம்மைத் தாமே கழுவி சுத்தப்படுத்திக்கொள்வார்கள். அவர்களின் சிறப்பான தோட்டத்திற்கு அந்த ஜனங்கள் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் பின்தொடர்ந்து செல்வார்கள். பிறகு அவர்கள் தம் விக்கிரகங்களைத் தொழுதுகொள்வார்கள். ஆனால் அனைத்து ஜனங்களையும் கர்த்தர் அழிப்பார். அந்த ஜனங்கள் பன்றிகள், எலிகள் மற்றும் மற்ற அழுக்கானவற்றின் இறைச்சியைத் உண்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் அந்த அனைத்து ஜனங்களும் சேர்ந்து அழிக்கப்படுவார்கள். (கர்த்தர் இவற்றை அவராகவே சொன்னார்).
