Isaiah 47:10
For you have trusted in your wickedness: you have said, None sees me. Your wisdom and your knowledge, it has perverted you; and you have said in yours heart, I am, and none else beside me.

உன் துன்மார்க்கத்திலே நீ திடநம்பிக்கையாயிருந்து: என்னைப் பார்க்கிறவர் ஒருவரும் இல்லையென்றாய். உன் ஞானமும் உன் அறிவுமே உன்னைக் கெடுத்தது; நான்தான், என்னைத் தவிர ஒருவருமில்லையென்று உன் இருதயத்தில் எண்ணினாய்.

நீ கெட்டவற்றைச் செய்கிறாய். ஆனாலும் நீ பாதுகாப்பாயிருப்பதாக நினைக்கிறாய். நீ உனக்குள், ‘நான் செய்கிற தவறுகளை எவரும் பார்ப்பதில்லை’ என நினைக்கிறாய். உனது ஞானமும், அறிவும் உன்னைக் காப்பாற்றும் என்று எண்ணுகிறாய். ‘நான் ஒருத்தி மட்டுமே, என்னைப்போன்று முக்கியமானவள் எவளுமில்லை’ என்று நீ உனக்குள் நினைக்கிறாய்.
