அசீரியா அரசன் ஒரு அறிக்கையைப் பெற்றான். அந்த அறிக்கை, “எத்தியோப்பியா அரசனான திராக்கா உம்மோடு போரிட வருகிறான்” என்று சொன்னது. எனவே, அசீரியா அரசன் லாகீசை விட்டு லிப்னாவுக்குத் திரும்பிப் போனான். தளபதி இதனைக் கேள்விப்பட்டான். அவன் லிப்னா நகரத்திற்குப் போனான். அங்கே அசீரியா அரசன் போரிட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தான். பிறகு தளபதி எசேக்கியாவிற்குத் தூதுவர்களை அனுப்பினான்.
