Isaiah 33:8
The highways lie waste, the travelling man ceases: he has broken the covenant, he has despised the cities, he regards no man.

பாதைகள் பாழாயின; வழிப்போக்கர்கள் இல்லை; உடன்படிக்கையை மீறுகிறான்; நகரங்களை இகழுகிறான்; மனிதனை மதிக்காமல் போகிறான்.

சாலைகள் அழிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன. எவரும் தெருக்களில் நடந்துகொண்டிருக்கவில்லை. ஜனங்கள் தாங்கள் செய்த உடன்படிக்கையை உடைத்துள்ளனர். சாட்சிகளிலிருந்து நிரூபிக்கப்படுவதை ஜனங்கள் நம்ப மறுக்கின்றனர். எவரும் மற்ற ஜனங்களை மதிக்கிறதில்லை.
