And my hand has found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathers eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.

ஒரு குருவிக்கூட்டைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறதுபோல் என் கை மக்களின் ஆஸ்தியைக் கண்டுபிடித்தது; விட்டுவிடப்பட்ட முட்டைகளை வாரிக்கொள்வதுபோல் பூமியையெல்லாம் நான் வாரிக்கொண்டேன்; ஒருவரும் இறக்கையை அசைத்ததுமில்லை, வாயைத் திறந்ததுமில்லை, கீச்சென்று சத்தமிட்டதுமில்லை என்று சொல்கிறான்.

எனது சொந்தக் கைகளால் அனைத்து ஜனங்களின் செல்வங்களையும் ஒருவன் ஒரு பறவையின் முட்டைகளையெல்லாம், எடுத்துக்கொள்வதுபோல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டேன். பறவை தன் கூட்டையும் முட்டைகளையும் விட்டுவிட்டுப் போகும். அக்கூட்டைக் காப்பாற்ற எதுவுமில்லை. எந்தப் பறவையும் தன் அலகாலும் இறக்கைகளாலும் எதிர்த்துப் போரிடாது. எனவே, ஜனங்கள் முட்டைகளை எடுத்துக்கொள்கிறார்கள். அதைப்போலவே, பூமியில் உள்ள ஜனங்களையெல்லாம் நான் எடுத்துக்கொள்வதை, எவரும் தடுக்க முடியாது” என்றார்.
