Hebrews 4:7
Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if all of you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

இன்று அவருடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்பீர்களானால் உங்களுடைய இருதயங்களைக் கடினப்படுத்தாமல் இருங்கள் என்று நீண்டகாலத்திற்குப்பின்பு தாவீதின் சங்கீதத்திலே சொல்லியிருக்கிறபடி, இன்று என்று சொல்வதினாலே பின்னும் ஒரு நாளைக் குறித்திருக்கிறார்.

எனவே தேவன் இன்னொரு நாளைத் திட்டமிட்டார். அது “இன்று” என அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. பல ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு இந்த நாளைக் குறித்து தாவீதின் மூலமாக ஏற்கெனவே மேற்கோள் காட்டிய பகுதியில் தேவன் பேசுகிறார், “இன்று நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டால், தேவனுக்கு எதிராக நீங்கள் கலகம் செய்த கடந்த காலத்தைப் போல உங்கள் இதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தாதீர்கள்.”
