Hebrews 11:5
By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

விசுவாசத்தினாலே ஏனோக்கு மரணமடையாமல் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டான்; தேவன் அவனை எடுத்துக்கொண்டதினால், அவன் காணப்படாமல் போனான்; அவன் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமானவன் என்று அவன் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படுவதற்கு முன்பே சாட்சிபெற்றான்.

ஏனோக்கு இறக்கவில்லை. இந்த பூமியில் இருந்து எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டான். அவன் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படுவதற்கு முன் தேவனுக்கு விருப்பமானவனாக இருந்தான். தேவன் அவனைத் தன்னிடம் எடுத்துக்கொண்டார். அதனால் மக்கள் அதன் பிறகு அவனைக் கண்டுகொள்ள முடியவில்லை. இது அவனது விசுவாசத்தினாலேயே ஆயிற்று.
