Galatians 3:17
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot nullify, that it should make the promise of no effect.

ஆகவே, நான் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், கிறிஸ்துவை முன்னிட்டு தேவனால் முன்னமே உறுதிப்பண்ணப்பட்ட உடன்படிக்கையை நானூற்றுமுப்பது வருடங்களுக்குப்பின்பு உண்டான நியாயப்பிரமாணமானது, வாக்குத்தத்தத்தைப் பயனற்றதாக்காது.

எனவே நான் சொல்வது என்னவென்றால் சட்டங்கள் வருவதற்கு முன்பே ஆபிரகாமிடம் தேவன் ஓர் உடன்படிக்கையை அதிகாரப் பூர்வமாகச் செய்திருக்கிறார். சட்டங்களோ 430 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பின்னர் வந்தது. எனவே அது அந்த உடன்படிக்கையை எவ்வகையிலும் பாதிக்காது. தேவன் ஆபிரகாமுக்குச் செய்துகொடுத்த வாக்குத்தத்தமும் தவறாதது.
