And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up behind, you and the people which you have brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I swore unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto your seed will I give it:

பின்பு கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி, “நீயும், நீ எகிப்திலிருந்து வழிநடத்திய ஜனங்களும் இவ்விடத்தை விட்டுப் புறப்பட வேண்டும். ஆபிரகாம், ஈசாக்கு, யாக்கோபு ஆகியோருக்குக் கொடுப்பதாக நான் வாக்குறுதி அளித்த தேசத்திற்குச் செல்லுங்கள். அவர்களின் சந்ததிக்கு அத்தேசத்தைக் கொடுப்பதாகச் சொன்னேன்.
