அதை அதிகாலைதோறும் அவரவர் சாப்பிடும் அளவுக்குத்தகுந்தபடி சேர்த்தார்கள், வெயில் ஏறஏற அது உருகிப்போகும்.

ஒவ்வொரு நாள் காலையிலும் உணவைச் சேகரித்துக்கொண்டனர். ஒருவன் தான் சாப்பிடக் கூடிய அளவு உணவை எடுத்துக்கொண்டான். வெயில் ஏறினதும் உணவு உருகி மறைந்துபோனது.

அதை விடியற்காலந்தோறும் அவரவர் புசிக்கும் அளவுக்குத்தக்கதாகச் சேர்த்தார்கள், வெயில் ஏறஏற அது உருகிப்போம்.
And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
