Then called Esther for Hatach, one of the king's chamberlains, whom he had appointed to attend upon her, and gave him a commandment to Mordecai, to know what it was, and why it was.

அப்பொழுது எஸ்தர் தன்னுடைய பணிவிடைக்கென்று ராஜாவினால் நியமித்திருந்த அவனுடைய அதிகாரிகளில் ஒருவனாகிய ஆத்தாகை அழைத்து: காரியம் என்ன? அதின் காரணம் என்ன? என்று அறியும்படி, மொர்தெகாயினிடம் விசாரிக்க அவனுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டாள்.

பிறகு, எஸ்தர் ஆத்தாகை அழைத்தாள். ஆத்தாகு அரசனின் பிரதானிகளுள் ஒருவன். அவன் அவளுக்கு சேவைச் செய்வதற்காகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டான். மொர்தெகாயை அழவைத்து துக்கப்படுத்தியது எதுவென அறிந்து வரும்படி அவள் அவனுக்கு கட்டளையிட்டாள்.
