If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.

ராஜாவிற்கு விருப்பமாக இருந்தால், வஸ்தி இனி ராஜாவாகிய அகாஸ்வேருவுக்கு முன்பாக வரக்கூடாது என்றும், அவளுடைய ராஜமேன்மையை அவளைவிட சிறந்த மற்றொரு பெண்ணுக்கு ராஜா கொடுப்பாராக என்றும், அவரால் ஒரு ராஜகட்டளை அனுப்பி, அது மீறப்படாதபடி, பெர்சியாவுக்கும் மேதியாவுக்கும் உரிய தேசத்தின் சட்டத்திலும் எழுதப்படவேண்டும்.
