The desire of the slothful kills him; for his hands refuse to labour.

சோம்பேறி மேலும் மேலும் ஆசைப்படுவதால் தன்னையே அழித்துக்கொள்கிறான். அவன் அதற்கென உழைக்க மறுப்பதால் தன்னைத்தானே அழித்துக்கொள்கிறான். ஆனால் நல்லவனிடம் ஏராளமாக இருப்பதால் அவனால் கொடுக்க முடியும்.
