ஆனால் உண்மையில் அவனுக்கு ஏழைகளின்மீது அக்கறையில்லை. அவன் ஒரு திருடனானபடியால் இவ்வாறு சொன்னான். இவன்தான் இயேசுவின் சீஷர்களுள் பணப்பையை வைத்திருந்தவன். இவன் அவ்வப்போது பணப்பையிலிருந்து பணம் திருடி வந்தான்.
