Daniel 9:14
Therefore has the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he does: for we obeyed not his voice.

ஆதலால் கர்த்தர் கவனமாயிருந்து, அந்தத் தண்டனைகள் எங்கள்மேல் வரச்செய்தார்; எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் தாம் செய்துவருகிற தம்முடைய செயல்களில் எல்லாம் நீதியுள்ளவர்; நாங்களோ அவருடைய சத்தத்திற்குச் செவிகொடுக்காமற்போனோம்.

கர்த்தர் எங்களுக்காகப் பயங்கரமானவற்றைத் தயார் செய்து வைத்திருந்தார். அவை எங்களுக்கு ஏற்படும்படி அவர் செய்தார். கர்த்தர் இதனைச் செய்தார். ஏனென்றால் அவர் செய்கிற எல்லாவற்றிலும் நியாயமாக இருந்தார். ஆனால் நாங்கள் இன்னும் அவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமல் இருந்திருக்கிறோம்.
