கனவுக்கண்ட 12 மாதத்திற்குப் பிறகு அரசனான நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் பாபிலோனிலுள்ள தன் அரண்மனையின் மாடியின் மேல் நடந்துகொண்டிருந்தான். அவன் மாடியிலிருந்துக் கொண்டு, “பாபிலோனைப் பார்! நான் இந்தப் பெரியநகரத்தைக் கட்டினேன். இது எனது அரண்மனை! எனது வலிமையினால் நான் இந்த அரண்மனையைக் கட்டினேன். நான் எவ்வளவு பெரியவன் என்று காட்டுவதற்காக இந்த இடத்தைக் கட்டினேன்” என்று கூறினான்.
