But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see far off, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

இவைகள் இல்லாதவன் எவனோ, அவன் முன்னமே செய்த பாவங்கள் சுத்திகரிக்கப்பட்டது, என்பதை மறந்து தன் அருகில் உள்ளவைகளையும் காண இயலாதவனாகவும் குருடனாகவும் இருக்கிறான்.

ஆனால் இவையனைத்தும் ஒருவனிடம் இல்லாதிருந்தால் அவனால் தெளிவாகப் பார்க்க இயலாது. அம்மனிதன் குருடனாக இருப்பான். தனது பழைய பாவங்களினின்று அவன் கழுவப்பட்டவன் என்பதை அவன் மறந்து போனவனாவான்.
