Ecclesiastes 5:11
When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?

பொருள் பெருகினால் அதை சாப்பிடுகிறவர்களும் பெருகுகிறார்கள்; அதை உடையவர்கள் தங்களுடைய கண்களினால் அதைக் காண்பதைத் தவிர அவர்களுக்கு பலன் என்ன?

ஒருவன், மிகுதியான செல்வத்தைப் பெறும்போது அதைச் செலவுசெய்ய உதவும் மிகுதியான “நண்பர்”களைப் பெறுகிறான். எனவே அந்த செல் வந்தன் உண்மையில் ஆதாயமடைவது ஒன்றுமில்லை. அவன் தன் செல்வத்தைப் பார்க்க மட்டுமே முடியும்.
