Ecclesiastes 11:8
But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that comes is vanity.

மனிதன் அநேக வருடங்கள் வாழ்ந்து, அவைகளிலெல்லாம் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்தாலும், அவனுடைய இருளின் நாட்களையும் நினைக்கவேண்டும்; அவைகள் அநேகமாக இருக்கும்; வந்து நடப்பதெல்லாம் மாயையே.

உன் வாழ்நாளில் உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு நாளையும் நீ அனுபவிக்கவேண்டும். எவ்வளவுகாலம் வாழ்வாய் என்பதுபற்றிக் கவலையில்லை. ஆனால் நீ மரித்துப் போவாய் என்பதை நினைத்துக்கொள். நீ உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாட்களைவிட மரித்த பின் உள்ள நாட்களே மிக அதிகம். நீ மரித்த பிறகு எதையும் செய்யமுடியாது.
