Deuteronomy 4:40
You shall keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command you this day, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days upon the earth, which the LORD your God gives you, for ever.

நீயும் உனக்குப் பின்வரும் உன் பிள்ளைகளும் நன்றாயிருக்கவும், உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்கு என்றைக்கும் கொடுக்கிற தேசத்திலே நீ நீண்ட நாட்கள் வாழ்வதற்கும், நான் இன்று உனக்குக் கற்பிக்கிற அவருடைய கட்டளைகளையும் அவருடைய கற்பனைகளையும் கைக்கொள்ளக்கடவாய் என்றான்.
