Deuteronomy 4:10
Specially the day that you stood before the LORD your God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

ஓரேப் மலையில் நீங்கள் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு முன்னால் நின்றதை நினைத்துப்பாருங்கள். கர்த்தர் என்னிடம், ‘நான் சொல்வதைக் கேட்க ஜனங்களை ஒன்று கூட்டு. பின்னர் அவர்கள் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் எனக்குப் பயந்து மதிப்பளிக்க கற்பார்கள். மேலும் இவற்றை அவர்கள் தமது குழந்தைகளுக்குக் கற்பிப்பார்கள்’என்று கூறினார்.
