Deuteronomy 31:14
And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, your days approach that you must die: call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him a charge. And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.

பின்பு கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: இதோ, நீ மரணமடையும்காலம் நெருங்கியிருக்கிறது; நான் யோசுவாவுக்குக் கட்டளை கொடுக்கும்படி, அவனை அழைத்துக் கொண்டு, ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் வந்து நில்லுங்கள் என்றார்; அப்படியே மோசேயும் யோசுவாவும் போய், ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் நின்றார்கள்.

கர்த்தர் மோசேயிடம், “இப்பொழுது நீ மரணமடைவதற்குரிய நேரம் நெருங்கியுள்ளது. பரிசுத்தக் கூடாரத்திற்குள் வரும்படி யோசுவாவிடம் சொல். அவன் செய்ய வேண்டியவற்றை நான் யோசுவாவிடம் கூறுவேன்” என்றார். எனவே மோசேயும் யோசுவாவும் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திற்குள் சென்றார்கள்.
