Deuteronomy 24:1
When a man has taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he has found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

ஒருவன் ஒரு பெண்ணைத் திருமணம் செய்துகொண்டபின்பு, அவளிடத்தில் வெட்கக்கேடான காரியத்தைக் கண்டு, அவள்மேல் பிரியமற்றவனானால், அவன் விவாகரத்தின் கடிதத்தை எழுதி, அவளுடைய கையிலே கொடுத்து, அவளைத் தன் வீட்டிலிருந்து அனுப்பிவிடலாம்.

When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favor in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

ஒருவன் ஒரு ஸ்திரீயை விவாகம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டபின்பு, அவளிடத்தில் இலச்சையான காரியத்தைக் கண்டு, அவள்மேல் பிரியமற்றவனானால், அவன் தள்ளுதலின் சீட்டை எழுதி, அவள் கையிலே கொடுத்து, அவளைத் தன் வீட்டிலிருந்து அனுப்பிவிடலாம்.
