Deuteronomy 21:23
His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but you shall in any way bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that your land be not defiled, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.

இரவிலே அவன் உடலை மரத்திலே தொங்கவிடக்கூடாது; அந்த நாளிலேயே அதை அடக்கம் செய்யவேண்டும்; தூக்கில் போடப்பட்டவன் தேவனால் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன்; ஆகையால் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உனக்குச் சொந்தமாகக் கொடுக்கும் உன் தேசத்தைக் கறைப்படுத்தாதே.
