Amos 6:7
Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed.

ஆகையால் அவர்கள் சிறையிருப்பிற்குப் போகிறவர்களின் முதல் வரிசையிலே போவார்கள்; இப்படியே உல்லாசமாகப் படுத்தவர்களின் விருந்து கொண்டாடல் நின்றுபோகும்.

அந்த ஜனங்கள் இப்பொழுது மங்சங்களில் வசதியாகப் படுத்திருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்களின் நல்ல நேரங்கள் முடிவடையும். அவர்கள் அந்நிய நாட்டுக்குக் கைதிகளைப்போன்று கொண்டுசெல்லப்படுவார்கள். எடுத்துக்கெள்ளப்படுகிறவர்களில் இவர்கள் முதன்மையானவர்களாக இருப்பார்கள்.
