Acts 8:24
Then answered Simon, and said, Pray all of you to the LORD for me, that none of these things which all of you have spoken come upon me.

அதற்குச் சீமோன்: நீங்கள் சொன்ன காரியங்களில் ஒன்றும் எனக்கு சம்பவிக்காதபடிக்கு, எனக்காகக் கர்த்தரை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள் என்றான்.

சீமோன் பதிலாக, “கர்த்தரிடம் நீங்கள் இருவரும் எனக்காகப் பிரார்த்தனை செய்யுங்கள். நீங்கள் சொன்னவை எனக்கு நேராதபடிக்கு பிரார்த்தனை செய்யுங்கள்!” என்றான்.
