ஆனால் தனக்குக் கிடைத்த பணத்தில் ஒரு பகுதியை மட்டுமே அவன் அப்போஸ்தலர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தான். மீதியிருந்த பணத்தை இரகசியமாக தனக்கென வைத்துக்கொண்டான். அவன் மனைவி இதனை அறிந்து இத்திட்டத்துக்கு ஒப்புக்கொண்டாள்.
