Acts 19:9
But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spoke evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

ஆனால் சில யூதர்கள் பிடிவாதமாக இருந்தனர். அவர்கள் நம்ப மறுத்தனர். இந்த யூதர்கள் தேவனுடைய வழியைக் குறித்துத் தீயவற்றைப் பேசினர். எல்லா மக்களும் இவற்றை கேட்டனர். எனவே பவுல் இந்த யூதரை விட்டு நீங்கி, இயேசுவின் சீஷர்களைத் தன்னோடு அழைத்துச் சென்றான். திறன்னு என்ற ஒருவனின் பள்ளிக்கூடம் இருந்த இடத்திற்குப் பவுல் போனான். பவுல் அங்கிருந்த மக்களுடன் தினமும் கலந்துரையாடினான்.
