And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will.

பின்பு தேவன் சவுலைத் தள்ளி, தாவீதை அவர்களுக்கு ராஜாவாக ஏற்படுத்தினார். ஈசாயின் மகனாகிய தாவீதை என் மனதிற்கு பிடித்தவனாகப் பார்த்தேன்; எனக்கு விருப்பமானவைகளையெல்லாம் அவன் செய்வான் என்று அவனைக்குறித்து சாட்சியும் சொன்னார்.
