And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.

அவன் இப்படி புரிந்துகொண்டபின்பு, மாற்கு என்னும் பெயர்கொண்ட யோவானுடைய தாயாகிய மரியாள் வீட்டிற்கு வந்தான்; அங்கே அநேகர் கூடி ஜெபம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

பேதுரு அதை உணர்ந்தபோது அவன் மரியாளின் வீட்டிற்குப் போனான். அவள் யோவானின் தாய். யோவான் மாற்கு என்றும் அழைக்கப்பட்டான். பல மக்கள் அங்கு கூடியிருந்தனர். அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் பிரார்த்தனை செய்துகொண்டிருந்தனர்.
