Acts 12:10
When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leads unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

அவர்கள் முதலாம் மற்றும் இரண்டாம் காவல்களைக் கடந்து, நகரத்திற்குப்போகிற இரும்புக் கதவின் அருகே வந்தபோது அது தானாக அவர்களுக்குத் திறந்தது; அதன்வழியாக அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டு ஒரு வீதிவழியாக நடந்துபோனார்கள்; உடனே தூதன் அவனைவிட்டுப் போய்விட்டான்.

பேதுருவும் தேவதூதனும் முதல் காவலனையும் இரண்டாம் காவலனையும் கடந்தனர். நகரத்திலிருந்து அவர்களைப் பிரித்த பெரிய இரும்புக் கதவருகே வந்தனர். அந்தக் கதவு தானாகவே அவர்களுக்காகத் திறந்தது. பேதுருவும் தேவ தூதனும் கதவின் வழியாகச் சென்று அடுத்த தெரு வரைக்கும் நடந்தார்கள். அப்போது திடீரென தேவதூதன் மறைந்தான்.
